Suter Züri-Tirggel, the melt-in-the-mouth, traditional biscuits. The best way to enjoy them is to first look at the pretty, funny pictures and then savor the Züri-Tirggel: Break the Tirggel into small pieces and let them melt in your mouth (don’t bite into them). They taste deliciously like honey! Suter Züri-Tirggel – is made from white flour, honey (30%), sugar, palm fat, and cooking salt.
The Tirggel story has its origins in Wadenswil, in the bakery of the Suter family. Nowadays, for making Tirggel cookies, they use a dough mixer and electric oven. Also, despite much manual work, they use modern packaging machines.
