How it all started

While modeling for the Swiss farmer’s calendar, Valentin Pfister, Edelvetica’s founder, and CEO, noticed that besides traditional costumes, there is no modern fashionable way of expressing home and love for Switzerland in everyday life. Therefore, he wanted to change that!

It all started in 2017 on a tiny scale – with four T-shirts. He quickly got very positive feedback from the people around him. Shortly,  more and more people have expressed their interest in modern, but still traditional, everyday fashion. After that, he found a company in Zurich that lived up to his demands for the highest quality and workmanship. As a result, the first 80 black and 80 white T-shirts went into production – initially only for men – and Edelvetica was born!
