Weizenkorn: The support work

Weizenkorn is a social enterprise that employs predominantly young women and men who need support work. When they do meaningful work, they experience acceptance and appreciation. Over 300 people are employed in a supported workplace or are completing training.

In production, sales, accounting, catering, hotels, and carpentry, the internal social service and 80 team members support the employees. The support work aims to strengthen existing skills and improve employability in the private sector. The Weizenkorn has existed since 1979 and is recognized by the federal government and canton as a protected workshop and provider of professional clarifications.

Accompanied work

The Weizenkorn Protected Workshops offer jobs and training positions in which people are supported according to their abilities. They allow you to discover and develop your strengths and apply them in a suitable working environment.

With targeted support and training, independence improves, and the chances of integration are increased. It strengthens self-esteem and makes participation in the economy and society extremely important for oneself and those around them.
