Little bit of history
Langweiler continued to develop his idea and eventually created a prototype of his musical marble run. He then applied for a patent for his invention, which was granted in 1971. Langweiler continued to work on improving his marble run and eventually released it commercially as the “Chime-O-Matic.”
The product was an instant success. Today, Xyloba is a world-renowned brand and manufactures several of its own designs in addition to Samuel’s original invention.
In the meantime, Samuel continued to work on his design and came up with new ideas. One of his most successful designs is the “Musicbox.
